Looking forward to the 2017 baseball season? Registration is now open!!!


Cooperstown Fundraiser, January 30th @ Davanni's, 4pm-8pm. Flyer required:

Support the 2017 Cooperstown Team by visiting Davanni's on Monday, Jan 30th from 4pm - 8pm.

Dine in and take out orders are included but not delivery.  20% of proceeds will be donated to the team.

Tryouts March 25th and 26th:

Tryouts for the 2017 BTBA season will be held Saturday March 25th & Sunday March 26th, 2017. 

The tryouts will be for all 10U - 14U players. 

Note: 15's & Jr. Legion will tryout after the high school season sometime mid-May 2017.

BTBA has applied for tournament entry for each anticipated 2017 team.

Jefferson and Kennedy High School winter workouts starting in January: (Note: Times may vary pending coaches schedule)

Jefferson and Kennedy High School Baseball Winter Workouts presented by Bloomington Traveling Baseball start in January!

  • Jefferson workouts will be Wednesday nights from 8-9pm
    • January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
    • February 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
    • March 1st and 8th
    • Jefferson Activity Center at 8-9pm


  • Kennedy workouts will be Sunday nights from 6-7:30pm
    • January 15th, 22nd, 29th
    • February 12th, 19th, 26th
    • March 5th and 12th
    • Kennedy Activity Center at 6:00 pm - 7:30pm


NO FEE TO PARTICIPATE, all players welcome.

NO CLEATS ALLOWED in the gyms.

BRING YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT, helmet, bat, glove, batting gloves - no cleats. 

These workouts are a great way to prepare for the upcoming season!

MBL has NOT yet adopted Little Leagues rule changes

For your information only. Little league has proposed 2018 rule changes. Please note that MBL has NOT yet adopted either of these:

As the BTBA board prepares for the 2017 season, we wanted to update parents on a few publicized rule changes Little League baseball is making for bats and age cutoff dates starting in the 2018 baseball season. 

Please note that BTBA’s governing league, the Metro baseball league (MBL) is independent and has not determined their position for bat rules nor age cutoff dates for 2017 or beyond.  

BTBA is working with MBL to determine their position on these changes but we do not have guidance from MBL at this time. We will communicate to parents as soon as we know more.

Below are links to these Little League baseball rule changes for your information. Again, these rules DO NOT currently apply to MBL/BTBA but we want you to be aware of them:
