*3. Be aware, bat rating rule change beginning in 2018 for 10U thru 14U:

Per the Feb, 2017 spring MBL directors meeting, Metro Baseball League planned to adopt BBCOR rated bats for the 2018 season. The USSSA 1.15 BPF bat will *possibly no longer be valid following the 2017 Fallball season in MBL/MBT games per the communication at the FEb meeting. The new BBCOR rated bats will be on the market in September 2017.

Note: At this time, Gopher State (MYAS) will continue to use the old USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp so you may want to save your old bats for Gopher State tournament play.

*Note: MBL has recently stated they are reviewing the bat policy and will vote on it at their October, 2017 tournament directors meeting and pot the outcome on their web site on Oct 6, 2017.

Per MBL "MBL/MBT will be discussing if there will be any new bat rule changes for the 2018 season.  MBL/MBT will meet with the community Travel and Tournament Directors on 10/3/17 to get feedback, answer questions & address concerns in order to make the best decision regarding this & other issues.

If you are looking now to purchase a new bat for the 2018 season....please hold off until the first week of October if possible?

MBL/MBT will be posting the final result on 2018 Bats by 10/6/17.
We thank you for your patience in this matter!
